Problem
The Cheating Assessment Extension is aimed at enhancing the fairness and integrity of online examinations. Initially perceived as technically unfeasible, the project faced significant skepticism from various teams, stalling its progress. The primary challenge was overcoming the negative perceptions regarding the technical feasibility of the application. Previous attempts by other teams had failed, casting doubt on the project's viability and delaying its launch.
Solution
To counter the skepticism and demonstrate the technical viability of the project, we initiated the development of a Proof of Concept (POC). This POC was designed to showcase the extension's effectiveness in a controlled environment before full-scale deployment. Building upon JavaScript, our team developed the Chrome Extension, ensuring it was lightweight and efficient. The development focused on creating a tool that would seamlessly integrate with existing systems without disrupting user experience.
